Florescent Tube Recycling

We are able to provide Florescent Lamp recycling to the same manner that you currently enjoy with the containers shown  being available for onsite storage and then transport back to the recycling plant for safe environmentally sound recycling.

The new WEEE Directive is a legal requirement and renders the recycling of mercury containing lamps and tubes, (plus a host of other electrical and electronic equipment) absolutely mandatory. The revision of the European Waste Catalogue now categorises used lamps & tubes, and crushed lamp debris, containing mercury or sodium as “Hazardous”.

The Recycling Process Our partners advanced and state-of-the-art plant removes contaminants and neutralise sodium. Useable lamp materials are processed and separated ready for recycling. Mercury is recovered and reused. Ferrous and non-ferrous metals are recycled in industry and the glass is reused.
