We offer several services for 100% data protection by destroying computer hard drives which is the only true way to fully satisfy your legal requirements in relation to the Data protection regulations and the misuse of information act but also to ensure that any sensitive information on the hard drives has been rendered totally irretrievable and therefore fully complies with the British HMG Infosec Standard 5, Enhanced Standard as the drives ultimately end up not only being shredded into fine pieces but also then sent to refiners for melting down and reuse as raw materials again.

We are able to collect from your site and take direct to our shredding plant any number of hard drives for secure destruction with a certificate of destruction provided for all our collections. We can if required record the serial numbers as well. For those customers who require a higher level of service or have government top secret level information on their hard drives, which requires them to be visually observed being destroyed, we can arrange this for you. We currently have several customers who require this level of destruction and we can if required provide a person to collect and observe the destruction on your behalf.

Onsite Destruction prior to off site Shredding:

With this service we will come to your site and physically destroy the Hard drives on site which will render them unusable as we not only destroy the circuitry but also the data storing platters within the hard drive. This prevents the drives from spinning up and hence any data being retrieved. We then store the hard drives in our secure storage units for the trip from your site to the shredding plant. Once they arrive at the shredding plant which is normally the same day they are then shredded as above to a fine shred and sent onto refiners for reuse in new equipment. We will also provide certificates of destruction and full audit trail for all destructions and collections.
