We are able to offer companies all over the uk a chance to give their computers a 2nd life with a new user whilst ensuring that the data and all information saved on the hard drive has been securely removed with no chance of recovery.

How can we do this
If you old computers are high end P3 or P4 based computers we can arrange for our asset management company to collect the equipment and ensure that once it has arrived at their secure facility the following procedure is strictly adhered to which ensures that no computer leaves with any identifying marks or any information still stored on the hard disks. We also ensure that they follow our policy of not sending unwanted or non working equipment abroad for recycling by sending any non working or unsuitable for re-use computers to our recycling plants for shredding and re-use of the raw materials.

Procedure.  Once the items have been assessed any computer equipment classified for re-use will have its hard drive securely data wiped using special software which is approved by the us ministry of defence and the top 500 companies in the world. This ensures that the operating system and all data stored on the hard drive is removed by filling the hard drive 3 times with special caricatures which render it impossible to retrieve any data that was stored on the hard drive. After data wiping all identifying marks including asset tags are removed and an electrical safety test is carried out prior to the equipment being given its 2 nd life with a new user.

Peace of MIND!! for all non working equipment as we will ensure that your equipment is  physically shredded and grinded up in to small pieces which will then be sorted into different streams of metals, plastics, circuit boards. These raw materials are then collected and sent to specialist refiners or processing plants to be re-use in making new products.

Once your equipment has been datawiped or shredded we will issue a certificate of destruction proving that the equipment collected from your site has either been fully sanitised of all data or been physically destroyed.
